Only during the night, the backlight is of some use. During the day, the keys appear clearer with the backlight turned off. It's a backlit keyboard but the backlighting intensity is extremely poor, especially on the white variant. The font could've been slightly clearer, but I guess ASUS wanted to show that this laptop has gaming chops.The keyboard backlight was also disappointing.
